London Dock offers 17 discounted homes to Tower Hamlets first-time buyers

Berkeley and Tower Hamlets Council have launched 17 discounted one and two-bedroom apartments at Jade Wharf within the London Dock development in Wapping, with prices starting at £262,000. The homes are available to first-time buyers who have lived in Tower Hamlets for at least 12 months or work or have a job offer in the borough, and whose combined household income is below £90,000. The council will retain an equity stake in the properties without charging rent on its holding, while buyers will have the option to purchase this stake. Applications and qualification must be completed by 21 September 2026, with the apartments expected to be ready for occupation from spring 2027.
