Developers appointed for Royal Docks floating village

25th July 2014

Boris Johnson has revealed that he has selected Carillion Igloo Genesis, an Anglo-Dutch consortium also including architects dRMM and engineers Buro Happold, to build a "thriving community" of homes, restaurants and offices on the waters of the Royal Victoria Dock.

The 15-acre project will include 50 residential homes, along with restaurants, shops, leisure and office space, cafes and bars, and will float on the water. A planning application will be submitted to Newham Council in Spring 2015.
