Rathbone Market plans unveiled

English Cities Fund has, in connection with Newham Council, submitted plans for the final phase of a 650-home development at Rathbone Market in Canning Town.

The £180m scheme is part of the £3.7bn regeneration of Canning Town and Custom House; the third phase sketches out plans for 162 privately-owned, and 54 affordable, properties and will comprise a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units within three blocks, ranging in height from six to 14 storeys. Phase one, entitled Vermillion, is now complete, with the second phase, Aurelia, set to be finished before the end of 2014.
